The objective is to train specialists who have:

understanding of the wider range of information technology disciplines and information technology issues affecting the sector as well as the latest trends;

understanding of the information system life cycle and the tasks of its phases;

basic skills of scientific research work.

In view of the collective nature of software development and maintenance, the goal is to develop the competencies to enable the professionals to work in a team and to perform different roles of software development life-cycle stages.
