Course Info

Today’s motor transport relies on electronic components for greater reliability, operational safety, durability and sustainability. The Motor Transport Electronics program at KTK prepares automotive electronics specialists able to design and install electronic equipment, select and manage diagnostic and repair equipment, and organize diagnostics of electronic and mechatronic systems.

Future motor transport electronics engineers study engineering graphics, mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, vehicle comfort and safety systems, etc. The knowledge gained is consolidated and improved during practical training and internships, which last up to 20 weeks altogether and are conducted in four stages: introductory training performed at KTK; professional, technological and final internships performed at partner companies, which include global market leaders, such as Hella Lithuania and Continental.

Career Opportunities

The qualification acquired gives the right to work as an engineer in companies providing diagnostic services for automotive electrical and electronic systems, to work as heads of divisions in companies engaged in other activities related to the operation and maintenance of cars in the country and individual regions, and to establish one’s own business.
