Accreditation

With over 20 years of expertise, all our programmes have been officially accredited by the German Accreditation Council. This certification attests to the fact that study programmes adhere to the most recent academic standards and are designed by qualified professionals. Since IU is system accredited, we can independently accredit new programmes — in compliance with legally specified quality criteria – and adapt to market demands without sacrificing quality. It is reaccredited for five years by the German Council of Science and Humanities in 2021.

IU is a member of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
