About the University

• Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) formerly Regional Technical College in a 90-acre campus situated in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, halfway between Dublin and Belfast (each approximately 80 kilometres away).

• Established as the Dundalk Regional Technical College, students were first enrolled in the college in 1971 and it was later re-defined as an institute of technology in January 1998.
